At Omkar Yoga our tutors specialise in embodiment and balance. Therefore any poses or combinations of movements are designed to support an holistic experience to balance muscle integrity and energy management.

Our Yoga classes include:

Light and conscious movement to activate and engage muscle integrity

Some sustained deeper postural holds for gently building strength

Concentration on the breath, both inhalation and exhalation

Energising our life force and resetting our nervous system

By engaging the composure of the physical with focus and concentration and the subtler aspects we can bring about a more heightened but embodied state to enable us to enjoy a richer and more engaged life.


Utilising Meditation and mindfulness can have a profound effect on our lives. By managing our thoughts, feelings and reactions we have new choices and opportunities available to us.

There are many routes to meditation and we offer many options to find the best style which suits you and your personality and lifestyle. Find a practice routine which can get you results with grace and ease.

8.45 – 10.15 AM: Balancing & Opening Yoga Class £12

10.15 – 11.15 AM: Family Yoga £10 or £5 for kids under 18 (accompaniment required for all children under 12)

11.15 – 12.00 PM: Yoga of Sound: Includes Mantra, Kirtan & Gongs £8

Every second Wednesday of the month

5.30 – 6.45 PM: Teen & Youth Yoga £10

6.45 – 7.30 PM: Yoga of Sound: Includes Mantra, Kirtan & Gongs £8
